Since the dawn of aviation women have stood on the front lines as pioneers of the industry. in 2013 the FAA released statistics that illustrated that of the 599,086 Licensed pilots in the unite states only 6.78 percent are women.
In 2015 www.womeninaviation.com is expecting to hand out more than 30 scholarships for flight training alone to help women of all backgrounds realize their dream of becoming a pilot.
